SUBJECT: "Sergeant" THREAT LEVEL: Minor ══════════════════════════════════════ FIELD DESCRIPTION: ▪ The Sergeant is believed to be a former military soldier or marine who retained an unusually strong survival instinct after infection. ▪ Its behavior is similar to that of a standard zombie. It slowly approaches its target and attacks with its claws once in range. ▪ However, after being killed for the first time, this infected may rise again if its body is left intact. This can easily catch inexperienced survivors off guard. So far, each specimen has only been observed reviving once. ▪ The first sightings were reported in areas where heavy fighting against the infection took place, as well as military zones occupied by marines. These locations are now considered high-risk infection zones. ▪ Its aggression toward humans is roughly the same as that of a regular zombie. ▪ ══════════════════════════════════════ VISUAL IDENTIFICATION: ▪ Like most infected, its hands are covered in blood. The lower jaw hangs loose due to severe nerve damage. The back of the skull is missing, causing blood to flow almost continuously from the wound. Most specimens wear torn gray military camouflage, although individuals dressed in civilian clothing have recently been reported. ══════════════════════════════════════ ▪ SURVIVAL NOTES: Although its threat level is comparable to that of a standard zombie, survivors should avoid its claw attacks and keep their distance from the corpse after it is neutralized. ▪ Firearms are the most effective way to eliminate it. If none are available, melee weapons are recommended. ▪ Fire is also highly effective.
